This post is in reference to how counselors have to deal ethically with domestic violence and those effected by it. Many professionals like psychologist, social workers, and psychiatrist have hard choices to make when dealing with the abused and the abusers.
Many of the the abused and abuser share with counselors information which has to be reported and under some laws has to be court ordered for reporting.
